A woman from Florida who was caring for a male with “cognitive delays” stabbed him a number of periods with a Sharpie before pushing him out of a automobile though she drove on I-95, a North Carolina sheriff reported.
The caretaker was driving 60 mph around Godwin when she pushed the gentleman on to the freeway on June 26 just ahead of 4 p.m., Cumberland County Sheriff Ennis Wright stated in a statement. She then drove several far more miles just before crashing the car.
Godwin is about 46 miles south of Raleigh.
The guy experienced a broken pelvis and street rash on his encounter, arms and legs, the assertion says. He and the caretaker went to a local medical middle for therapy.
The caretaker, Arlene Mary Bonitz, 57, of Palm Harbor, Florida, was arrested on July 1 and faces a demand of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, the sheriff stated.
No attorney was mentioned for Bonitz.
Her bond was set at $75,000.
