OnScene.Television setA girl who was taken into custody for a DWI and felony evading Wednesday evening in Midtown was uncovered with a 4-yr-aged toddler asleep in the again of her automobile, in accordance to Houston police.
An HPD motorcycle officer was coming inbound at the Katy Freeway near Taylor when he was pretty much struck by a white Chevrolet sedan touring approximately 80-90 mph, Houston police stated. The motor vehicle also nearly struck other autos on the roadway.
The lady refused to quit for the officer and led numerous law enforcement cars on a pursuit that ended at the corner of Fannin and Blodgett Streets wherever she was taken into custody, in accordance to HPD Lt. Ignacio Izaguirre.

“They do obtain that she appears to be intoxicated and our DWI officers are conducting discipline sobriety checks,” Izaguirre explained. “There was also a 4-calendar year-aged kid that was discovered in the backseat of her motor vehicle. He was audio asleep at the time of this complete incident and our officers have checked on the child. He is alright.”
Police are trying to find a relative of the baby to release into custody, HPD included.
