Pekan OCPD Supt Mohd Zaidi Mat Zin explained a motorcyclist experienced stopped on Jambatan Sg Api-Api at Jalan Pekan-Nenasi-Rompin at 11.38am on Saturday (July 23) to take out a steel rod on the highway when he observed the roof of a vehicle in the river.
“The motorcyclist then contacted the Nenasi police station. At 12.50pm, police and a Fireplace and Rescue Department workforce arrived at the scene and it was decided there was no criminal component immediately after investigations,” reported Supt Mohd Zaidi, adding that the car or truck was elevated at about 4.40pm.
