Long Island woman in alleged DWI crash with kids in car: police

ROOSEVELT, N.Y. (PIX11) — A Long Island female is going through many counts of DWI following crashing into a parked tow truck with two younger small children in her car, according to law enforcement.

Sheila Jadick, 31, was driving a 2010 Mercedes-Benz around Babylon Turnpike and Cumberland Avenue in Roosevelt close to 9:25 p.m. Sunday when she slammed into an unoccupied tow truck, officials explained.

First responders discovered Jadick holding a 4-12 months-previous woman who was bleeding from the brow, and accompanied by a 3-calendar year-aged boy, who appeared unharmed, according to authorities. 

All 3 were being transported to a nearby hospital. But though the kids had been addressed and released to the treatment of a household member, Jadick was held in custody.

The Westbury resident was billed with just one rely of DWI, an additional two counts of DWI in violation of Leandra’s Regulation, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a little one.
