On Friday, Carrie Underwood introduced her predicted new single, “Ghost Tale.” Written by Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey and David Garcia, and co-made by Garcia and Underwood, “Ghost Story” is said to be “a refreshing, modern just take on a revenge tune – but as an alternative of smashing headlights, this scorned lover is telling her ex that she will go on to haunt him no subject how tough he attempts to ignore her.”
Underwood mentioned, “ ‘Ghost Story’ was created for me by David Garcia, Hilary Lindsey and Josh Kear, and I truly feel like they just nailed it when they got collectively to produce. I have labored with all those unbelievably gifted writers, a couple of which I’ve labored with considering that pretty much the incredibly starting. I sense like they just know me so properly. The song is hauntingly stunning, has a truly vast assortment and remarkable melody, and just tells this actually interesting, cinematic story of how this dude is never going to be capable to allow go of the girl he let go of because she’s just usually likely to be haunting him. Underwood is nominated for two 2022 Grammy Awards – for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year for “My Savior” and she and Jason Aldean, who just picked up the ACM Award for Single of the Calendar year, are also nominated for Most effective Region Duo/Team Performance for “If I Didn’t Adore You.” Underwood and Aldean were being also nominated for two 2022 CMT Songs Awards for “If I Did not Love You” – Collaborative Movie of the Calendar year and Video of the Calendar year, which Underwood gained previous 12 months for “Hallelujah” with John Legend.
