NEWARK, N.J. (WABC) — Four individuals have been killed and a further was in essential situation at the hospital following a fiery three-vehicle crash in Newark early Saturday.
According to police, officers responded to the intersection of Frelinghuysen Avenue and Evergreen Avenue just following 4:20 a.m. the place the three automobiles were engulfed in flames.
“It sounded like an plane, like a incredibly loud explosion, I didn’t know it was a vehicle,” witness Johnathon Perez mentioned.
A further witness explained she noticed the crash transpire.
“The other car bumped the other auto and they went underneath that tractor trailer other there, that is how the accident took place,” witness Michelle Lee stated.
Firefighters put out the flames and pulled four men and women from the wreckage, but law enforcement stated all four victims succumbed to their injuries.
