Kristin

The 2010 Opel Zaire has got enough to attract the buyers for multiple reasons. The 77 KW/105 hp 1.6 liter engine consumes about 7.0 liters of fuel per 100 km distance covered. The four cylinder with four valve unit is also available optionally. The specs of the 1.7 CDTI engine are 81KW/110 hp and 92 KW/125hp respectively, and the 1.7 CDTI engine was used in the 2008 models. Both of them come with six-speed manual transmission, common rail injections with four valve technology, swirl controls as well as maintenance, and free diesel particular filter.

The 1.7 CDTI engine is replaced with the 74 KW/100 hp 1.9 CDTI as well as the 88KW/120 hp 1.9 liter diesel engines in the 2010 Zaire. Greater power is delivered by 1.7 CDTI units with increased torque of 20Nm and 40 Nm respectively, while the fuel consumptions and CO2 emissions are reduced.

Both diesel engines produce just 152 g CO2 and consume 5.7 liters of fuel per 100 km distance. The new Zaire has some technical highlights, which include optional displays chassis system with electronic CDC (Continuous Damping Control). It provides an exclusive dimension of driving comfort as well as added safety. The control units as well as sensors of Espouse, ABS and CDC can exchange data consistently, thereby resulting in instant optimization of chassis, fine tuning its integrated control system. The AFL bi-xenon headlamp system and the Adaptive Forward Lighting with dynamic curve light embed flawlessly into the compact van segment.
